- Description:
- Solix EDMS for JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne and World) provides the following functionalities:
- Database Archiving;
- Database Subsetting
- Data Masking for the Subsets
Solix EDMS for JDE is built around a repository containing pre-populated JDE metadata. J2EE architecture, rich UI and analytics and a policy-driven tool are its key strengths.
Archiving: with data retention policies defined, Solix EDMS enables tiered storage while at same time allowing online access to archived data (through native JDE application) and provision to de-archive to production should it be necessary. Archiving helps to improve JDE performance and reduce storage costs.
Subsetting: smaller subsets can be created – for test and development purposes - at a fraction of the time it takes to create a full-sized clone. Besides improving DBA productivity, this also helps in reducing storage requirements for test and development.
Data Masking: sensitive data in the subsets are masked in a consistent manner across the different tables. By maintaining complete referential integrity, the subsets allow full testing capabilities, while at the same time ensuring data privacy through masking of sensitive data in the subsets.
- Why should you buy this product?
- Solix EDMS architecture allows companies to centrally manage the process of archiving, creating and securing test databases. There is no need for multiple installations of database tools or application metadata for each server environment. Solix EDMS for JD Edwards:
• Improves JDE performance and therefore improves business agility
• Increases productivity of DBAs, application users and application administrators
• Reduces IT maintenance otherwise associated with large data volumes
• Reduces cost of storage by moving historical data to lower cost storage options and through smaller data subsets for test & development
• Improves data privacy through data masking
• Implements a comprehensive data management strategy to improve operational efficiencies, record management and compliance.
• Available as a perpetual license as well as an On-Demand license.
Solix EDMS supports JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as well as JDE World across all platforms and databases. It can be integrated with any module in JD Edwards through Solix EDMS objects that define the most common JD Edwards business logic.
